| Post subject: | Striker or Tramp tension first? |
It's time to replace the trampoline on my old Hobie 14 (non-turbo). I've decided at the same time I'm going to install a Dolphin striker kit I got from Murray's. Question is, do I install / tension the striker first or the tramp? I've read some articles and I get the feeling that the general consensus is tight on the tramp, and just snug on the striker, but which do I set first? Any suggestions on this? Am I just overthinking this? |

In a word - yes. Tight on the tramp, snug on the striker. Doesn't matter which you do first. |

When depressing the cable, midway between the post and pylon, I have about an inch and a half deflection. Seems too loose to me. |
