Restoring a very old H14. All tiller connections are pretty loose. I've found the Hobi 14 rivet guide on the parts page, but it just lists Hobi part numbers. Is there a cross to trade sizes available? Failing that, I am not sure where to go to buy Hobi part number rivets.

Try here Dan

Click on the rivets below the guide for Hobie cross reference numbers

Personally I would go up one size and redrill the hole especially of the rivets are loose

Cheers Steve

Every rivet on your Hobie is stainless steel material, 3/16" diameter. The only variation is the length. Drill out the old rivets and check the overall material thickness of the two parts being joined. Add a little extra length just in case (I've never found extra rivet length to be a problem except on tiller tubes where the rivets opposite one another can crash if they're too long). I typically buy my rivets from McMaster Carr in boxes of 50 (for a fraction of what Hobie charges).
