My wife found a Hobie 14 and brought it home. I looked on the rear of the pylons and found these numbers/letters inscribed and wondered what they would tell me about the craft...any help deciphering is appreciated. CCM89698M81C and then under this was a 22. I am assuming the 22 is the mast length...also in the string of number/letters, I am assuming the 1 is a 1 and not an I... Thanks for any help! pbs |

CCMB9698M81C That is all that matters. 1981 Model. Note the CCMB not 8. |

Not really. Could be mold number or hull-only weight or something, but that is not something done these days. |
