Hi all HC14 sailors . i m a HC16 spi coach ,and my sailclub has recieved a very old brazil HC14..5 battens sail only ,and no upper rudder casting screws . i want to use it for the young sailors and have shifted all wires and added Trapeze .- it has dolphin striker. what do i do with weather helm ?is there no other way to angle the rudders but to re-drill them? is the 5 battens sail much slower then 6? At a national level event, Yes. The rest of the time not really. I had a almost brand new 6 batten at NA's last year and still got my butt handed to me. I also had a boat that was 46 lbs over weight that didn't help anything either. |
