We'll be staying a long weekend in Meadow Vista and I'd love to rent a Hobie Wave. Seems Folsom Lake would work if I could find a place that rents them. Does anyone know of one? Or another location convenient to Auburn/Meadow Vista? Thanks! |

Folsom Lake can be a good time, especially in the late afternoon or evening with the delta breeze comes in. Unfortunately, I do not know of any sailboat rentals, of any sort, in the area. Furthermore, lake levels have been dropping quickly and launching could be problematic if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle. As of this past weekend, it is more of a pond than a lake! |
