Update on Beach Parking for Hobies One of the Summer Deputies informed my kid that if the Hobie 16 was not removed from the beach that there would be a $1000.00 fine per day. Traveled up to the Edisto Beach Police Department and Talked to Chief Coffee who stated that there was some confusion about beach cat boat storage on the beach. Chief Coffee stated that a Cat was ok to store on the beach at the beginning of the sand dunes and the edge of the sea oats. Turn the boat sideways so people can walk around at high tide.
