| Post subject: | FL - Lake George? |
Just getting into sailing and have been fixing up a 86 H18 I picked up. Anyone have any experience sailing lake George in central Florida? I just moved here and haven't been out there to see how it is (about half an hour away in Ocala). I've heard the whole thing is pretty shallow and full of alligators... sounds perfect right!? |

If it is over 4 feet deep and a 100 acres you should be ok The gators need to watch out for you. Just remember the HC 18 center boards do not like shallow water and stumps or hitting a 1000 pound gator Former Hobie Admiral Gary |
