Thanks in advance for help. Just put our 1981 Hobie 18 into the water. I noticed the line on the roller furling was not attached. At the bottom of the roller furling there is a black disk with a small hole. The line starts at that hole. There is a crack at the hole that allows the line to escape.

Any repair options, besides a new kit? I was wondering if I could drill a new hole or should I just get a repair kit? Also, help on how to reconnect line appreciated.

Larry

I would bet a new hole is worth a shot.
