I might be able to get a hold of an inexpensive, used Cat-Trax beach dolly but it it's current form it's too long. The seller claims it's 12' long....7' between the tires. I'm not too familiar with how these are put together, but would it be possible to shorten them so they would work with an H16? Maybe slide one wheel (or both) in somehow and cut a few feet off the shaft? I'm trying to get a rough idea if it's even possible before I commit to drive 45 minutes to take a look at them myself. I would appreciate any insight from you cat-trax owners out there. Thanks. |

Yep, you got it. The wheels are located on the axle by a heavy cotter pin on each side. All you have to do is drill new holes where you need them, move the wheel in, move the hull cradles in, and cut off any excess axle. sm |

Sounds like it's worthwhile to give it a try then. Thank you. |
