| Post subject: | replacing cleat for jib tie down on mast |
I am missing the cleat for the jib tie down that is located on the mast port side, holes are already there. does any one recommend just using stainless steel screws to attach the cleat instead of rivits (sp). |

Not unless you can get inside the mast with backing washers and nuts... so no, rivets are the way to go. |
