A quick fix on a trampoline is asking to get hurt / injured. If it's old enough to start separating it's time to replace it.

Agreed, there is nothing worse than having a ripped tramp and trying to get to the other side to make a tack.

careful with the aftermarket tramps, I took a ride recently on a 16 with a one year old, aftermarket, mesh tramp. It pulled out of the front beam while underway!

I have an aftermarket tramp it looks like new after 14 years
I did have to replace thread this year
It stays out all year in the sun
I think Sunrise sails made mine
Mesh is the way to go

Back to the original question. Get some material at the local fabric store. Brush out contact cement and clamp the fabric. Clamping may be difficult, you may have to take the tramp off the boat. If able, use two boards (one each, top and bottom) and lots of clamps. If so desired, sew the outer edges of the patch. Zig zag [/\/\/\/\] or X stitch [//////, then come back with, \\\\\\\\] will work.

Contact cement must be spread evenly on both surfaces to be mated. Let it tack up before joining the surfaces. Those two things right there are crucial to a good job.
