You can easily repair small holes in your sails with "sail repair tape" available from West Marine, Murray's, or many other sailing supply stores. Larger tears should be dealt with by a professional sail repair / manufacturing service. You can also get new standing & running rigging from either the Hobie Cat company or from Murray's (www.murrays.com) or the Catsailor store ( http://store.catsailor.com which then seems to go back through Murray's). If you're going to replace the tramp lacing, there's no need to spend big bucks on some fancy line; I just use the $5 for 50' nylon rope from Wal-Mart and figure on replacing it in 2 years or so. Good luck and welcome! |
