The block in my jib traveler car has rotted away. Is there a way to fix it or do I have to replace the whole thing? I won't be racing, I just want to fix it for cheap...

Thanks

Buy a used one off eBay or a dealer. Fixing it would be more expensive.

Better yet, cough up the dough for the TrenTec cars. They work much better in the old track.

jimmu,
I just repaired my traveler blocks on my 86' H16 for less than 10 bucks. I purchased 2 new rollers that fit inside the travelers, I "carefully" drilled out the broken rollers, then easily put the new rollers in the travel cars and secured them with a 3/4" clevis pin each and a split ring to hold the pin in place. Next time all I have to do is pull the pin and change out the roller. easy-peezie.

I did too, I purchased the sheaves from west marine and did like you had said.
