What contact cement should I use for the loose seatpads on my Wave? It is close to two years old - Bought new from the Swedish Hobie Europe dealer. It has got US made hulls but Chinese sail, French non-Comptip mast, short tillers and PVC tramp.

You have the right idea... Contact Cement. Not aware of different kinds. You would want something that can glue down carpet. Apply glue to both surfaces, let dry then stick together.

  man - all I can tell you is that it's a good thing most of us know what you're referring to, because as we get older our "seatpads" all start to flap and wave in the breeze. That's why I wear a shortie wetsuit.
