Need some advice on repairing the cradles on both my trailer and dolly. I have a 20, so know that the cradles are important for support. Both rear cradles are cracked pretty badly - one cracked at the base, and the other on the side so only the carpet is holding it on. The other 2 are decent, but could use some reinforcement.

Not real excited about plunking down almost $400 for a new set of these the boat sits mast up on the beach most of the season. Anybody have suggestions for repair or beefing these up a bit?

Thanks,
JDM

Peel off the carpet, grind out the cracked areas, and re-glass. If you're not worried about cosmetics, it is a super easy fix and there is no harm going overboard making the repair good and thick. Use woven roving or glass mat to build up thickness quickly.

Thanks. Sounds like I have my project for next weekend. I'll find something else for the boat to spend that $400 on!
