Post subject:  removing tar from hulls

Do any of you that sail in waters that have high amounts of tar washing up on the beaches have any tricks to removing the tar from hulls? Will acetone work? I know baby oil works for getting it off skin. Thanks for your help!

WD-40 and a stiff rag. Keep moving to a clean part of the rag.
