I have a some corrosion at the end of my H20 crossbars where an old fitting must have been mounted. Is there a material that's recommend for filling divits like this? JB Weld??? Any thoughts??? ![]() |

It doesn't really look that bad to me. I'd just install some aluminum rivets to fill the holes with a little Tefgel applied before installing. That should stop any further corrosion. You could wire brush it and hit it with a little spray paint beforehand if you want. I wouldn't bother with JB weld. It isn't going to do anything. There are aluminum welding rods that can be used with a propane torch which could be used to fill in the divots, but I think in this case you would risk doing more harm than good. sm |
