Hi all

Has anyone observed that kind of corrosion on their catamaran? This is happening on the rear beam of mine, and I can see it on loads of locations. I don't know whats best to do. It seems to be microbiological corrosion, and I dont know how to stop it.
Thanks for your responses

Can’t see the pic. What model Hobie? Corrosion is very common anywhere you have stainless steel (i.e. rivets and fittings) in contact with aluminum plus the presence of salt water.

Thanks
I am struggling to put the pic from my phone directly on the post.
So this corrosion happens when it’s dry. And where the holes are, there is no rivets

What model Hobie?

Pics must be uploaded to a third-party site (like photobucket) and then the image linked in the body of your post.
