I have a small soft spot too, I pretty much get the technique, I just need a pointer in what kind of epoxy to get. what brand, where is it cheapest to buy? Thank you! Matt |

Hopefully this isn't too late for your repair, but I had two soft spots on my hulls and I used git rot on one of them and went with the cheaper West Marine brand of penetrating epoxy and it worked just as well.....it's also cheaper! Best of luck! |

Use the git rot. It is well established that it works, and it is not that expensive when you compare it to a hull failure. Spend the extra few dollars and do it right. |

used both on one of my hulls in two different spots....the west marine was cheaper and easier to work with and it's just as hard as the git rot repair i did! |
