Hi to all togehter, bought a hobie 17 with an ugly blue trampoline. would like to change it in mesh material, but too expensive. do you have any idea about "best buy"/"best price" or maybe better: source for buying only the material and make it myself. tanks a lot for your help. best regards hartmut (from germany) |

I picked up plenty of vinyl scap, they use for road repair. I compared it with the black mesh I recently bought from the local sailmakers, (I had the same ide as you). It looks almost, exactly the same, but $75. cheaper, for one boat. I'll give you enough material, and shipping, for $20. [email protected] |

Bill, I'm looking to do the same thing after ripping through two older/worn tramps. Do you have more detail on what this 'vinyl scrap" is?
