| Post subject: | delam where shroud meets hull |
Hey all -- new guy here, and have browsed most all the delam pages- but nothing specific to my problem-- the connection where the shroud meets the hull (starboard hull) is cracked and looks week-- i have started the grinding and would like some tips if my methods are solid.. i have ground to the glass layer 2" up from the crack all around - plan to build out with epoxy and glass and fill with gelcoat-- any other concerns would help - i attached a pic for reference.. -- opps no pic -- i can't seem to figure it out?? help with pics? thanks, william[url][URL=http://img501.imageshack.us/my.php?image=hobiefix1vd6.jpg][IMG]http://img501.imageshack.us/img501/496/hobiefix1vd6.th.jpg[/IMG][/URL][/url] |
