Post subject:  Hobie 17 Trailer axle replacement

I am about to buy a boat and looking at the axle I think it would be best to replace the the whole thing, ie the springs (currently broken), axle, hubs/bearings and wheels (hard to find 4 lug hubs) so it is ready to haul back down to where I live. Last time I trailered my hobie 16 up from FL to CT the wheel fell off, so I would like to avoid that. So I dont know if anyone can help me spec out the new axle. I would need:

Distance between mounting point on leaf springs on front to back on the trailer: est 25"?

Width of axle to center of leaf springs: Most important so it will bolt up. I have asked him to get this, but I assume it being a stock trailer that others would be the same.

Width of axel to center of hubs: I can go a little wider here and just get different fenders.

Im sure it is about the same size as the one I had made for my 16 but that is sold and gone.

Any help on this would be appreciated as I don’t want the same thing to happen on the trip back to CT.
Attachments are to show you the measurements that I need. Also the wheel size would help so I don’t go to big.

Nevermind the guy lied about holding it and sold it on me.
