Post subject: | Rear cross bar touch up |
My hobie rear mast cradle fell off on the way to camp(bungee broke).By the time I figured it out the mast had scratched up the rear cross bar pretty goog.It is only cosmetic damage but the boat is still like new to me(2006) so I want it to still look "Purty".Any suggestions on how to tidy it up. |

Years ago we could buy an "anodizing touch up kit" for what you've described. I'm not sure if there is any such product available now days. A couple of ideas you could consider are.. using a magic marker (AKA the plugger method), or maybe some spray epoxy paint. If $$ wasn't an issue you could get the entire cross bar re-anodized, but who knows how much that could cost. Let us know how it turns out. |
