Has anyone put this on a getaway? I wonder if the front cross bar would take the extra load, any thoughts. see it at www.catsailor.com/Hooter.html |

We make a spinnaker kit for the Getaway. It doesn't furl, you snuff it into a bag on the forward tramp. ![]() I think that article was written about 10 years ago. Things have changed a bit. |

I installed Surf City Catamarans spinnaker. It gives a pretty wild ride when the wind starts blowing above 8/10 knots ! Lots of fun! My understanding of a Hooter, is that you can use it even going upwind. Not sure how that would work, and I haven't seen any available for the getaway. |
