I've been considering a used '84 H16, but what I've really had my heart set on all along is the Getaway. I just haven't been able to find any used within a 500 mi. radius at all until now. This Hobie Getaway is around 450 miles away. I needed to know a fair negotiating price. Here's the info: It's a Hobie Getaway 2002. Advertised as only used 3 times. Until last November it's been stored in a warehouse. I'm not sure how it's been stored the last 8 months. Comes with galvanized trailer that was originally purchased with the Hobie. Accessories: wings, mast raising system, winch, rear mast support, boat tiedowns, sail storage box. The owner sent me some photos and as far as I can tell, it looks good. Asking price is $4500. Is this a fair price since the boat is 7 years old? I'd like to negotiate on the price, but not sure what would be fair. Thanks for your help. |

Well, the Getaway got away. I think it was sold before I asked about it. I guess the new owner will be picking it up this Saturday. Lucky person. |
