From posts on this forum it appears that we have a number of Getaway owners within driving distance of Canyon Lake TX, located midway between Austin and San Antonio. If there is enough interest I suggest we schedule to meet to sail together sometime this summer (regatta seems too organized a term for what I have in mind.) I will watch for answers on this forum, and post contact information, etc... if there is sufficient interest. |

I'm in! Cynthia Brown in Austin Texas. Contact me at e-mail [email protected]. I just bought a used 2008 Getaway in March, but for various reasons have yet to put the boat in the water. I have previous racing experience in Monohulls from years ago, but definitely will be on a learning curve with respect to the Getaway. Would love to join in on a fun and not so formal "regatta". |
