The Cheata mount is listed in the Hobie catalog.

Page 42. #3184 $400.00 You can mount an electric or small gas motor. You need very little thrust in any case.

Thanks. I see it in the online catalog now, but the price says $400 for item # 3184. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

Thank you.

A motor mount for a canoe works. the ones that adjust to fit across the beam of the canoe. only around $1oo for a good one and it will fit across a hull just behind the crossbar.

Can you provide any more specific direction on a canoe mount that will work? Have not been able to find anything on the internet that looks like it will work. Will hurt to spend $400 on a hunk of metal. Thanks
