Yes bleach is fine on the hulls but I wouldnt get it on the sails.
Use a mild soap and water solution or sail cleaner. Congrats on the boat.

Just purchased a roughly used 2005 Getaway! Sails moldy, hull moldy, rudders same. Disassembling all this weekend to restore her to her glory...any suggestions for the mold solution? I was going to use watered down bleach solution, but concerned it is too strong for sails. Can't wait to get her out on Kailua Bay! |
