Does anyone know the max weight the Cheata mount is rated for? I called the number on their site and it was disconnected. An e-mail got no response. |

I think the rear crossbar will fail before the mount. Where the mount attaches to the crossbar is where the stress is. I know that does not answer your question though. I don't know if there is an answer either. I doubt Hobie will test how much twisting force the rear crossbar can handle, that's not what it was designed to do. Probably wise to forget about that 175HP 4-stroke Honda ![]() |

I see lots of people are using 2HP outboards. Can anyone tell me how much they weigh including gas? |
