Getting a good buy on a Getaway, but need a trailer. Looked into new it will cost almost 1,500.00. Are there any used trailers or has someone converted a utility trailer? I live in the southern NJ area, any input would be appreciated. ![]() |

Trailers shouldn't be so expensive. http://www.theboathouse.biz/boat_hobie_price_list.asp list Getaway trailer for $850. They're in Maine. Shop on the web for a dealer close to where you live. |

trailers here in the panhandle of FL are in the $1,350-$1,500 range for galvanized. We can get the ones out of the Hobie Catalog a bit cheaper but you must pay freight and then put them together, by that time your almost at the price, or above, what a locally made trailer runs. |

Likely they had not updated the price or are selling another local trailer at the Boathouse. The Hobie galvanized trailer for the Getaway is $1265.00 plus freight and assembly. |
