| Post subject: | Hydro-Foiling Like the 72's in the America's Cup? |
This topic has probably been covered but while watching and enjoying the America's Cup this weekend I wondered if Hobie has developed or any enterprising Hobie owner developed hydro-foils that would actually lift the boat out of the water in higher winds? If they have, have they been adapted for a Getaway? Looking forward to your replies. Dom |

This topic was covered on this thread. http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=46713. It probably isn't practice to add foils to a getaway as the construction is plastic, an thus not modifiable. |
