Just bought a 2004 Getaway with wings. Would like to add the trapeze set up to it. Does anyone offer the cables already shortened as a kit for the G with wings? I know we are not supposed to hike out with wings but my 110 pound wife wants to do it. She sky dives, bungee jumps, hang glides, flies private planes, motorcycles, etc. I think she can handle it! Thanks! |

Hi, Irv?, I measured my trapeze wire and it is 177.25", pin to pin, or inside of thimble. then there is about 26" to bottom of loop that I hook into with my harness. there is a handle above the bottom nicopress fitting. that to me seems a little high when unhooking and grabbing handle, especially if you wifes arms are shorter. I'd suggest 4-6" longer than what I made them. Use 2 nicopress slugs. good luck..doug |

Mid head high for the handle is the right height if you want to do it custom. Low enough to reach while on the trapeze. High enough to lift your self off the seat or back onto the boat. 32" from the seating point (hull or wing) is standard I believe. |
