| Post subject: | Jib Tracks and Cars for Getaway? |
Does it make sense to replace the fixed jib cleats on an '07 Getaway with the Ronstan cleat cars (part # 1075) and tracks (part # ??) to match the main when close hauled or on a broad reach? I found the jib tends to stall when close hauled and to be too baggy on a broad reach in heavy air. I have the Ronstan cleats, but don't know if anyone has tried this with the Getaway's RF jib?? |
