Check this out. How big of an issue is this? And how can I repair it?

Not repairable. We have yet to see a complete failure due to them, but they would leak.

Well, before giving up or buying new hulls, I'd try

It won't be as good as new or as resilient, but you probably can keep it from leaking too much. Plastic is great stuff but it does continually offgas and gets brittle with age (Look at old car dashboards).
