Hi, Has anyone found a good solution to getting rid of the chalky/faded look that can appear on the metal crossbars and other painted metal on the Hobie cats? Other than repainting, is there something I could apply? |

I've heard many good things about Penetrol on the anodized black aluminum parts and masts. |

The Penetrol works great. Wipe it on with a rag, but make sure you don't use so much that it runs. Let it fully dry before touching it. Everything will look like it was freshly painted. |

Which penetrol product? The paint conditioner? |

Penetrol is fantastic and makes the black anno look almost new again! I think it's the penetrating primer oil one. |

It's the oil based paint additive. |
