| Post subject: | Stripped thread on mast ball |
I leave my Getaway on a lift in southern Florida. The ball is stripped each time I lower the mast (about every other year when I change the shrouds). This situation makes lowering the mast a bit more difficult. What is the solution for this problem? |

Maybe try to limit the rotation when in storage. Likely the mast rotating back and forth in the wind day-in and day-out... damages it. |
