Hi, was wondering if anyone has been trapezing off the wings single handed? Any vid of success or mishaps or advice appreciated. cheers Jeremy |

Nice. I'll show you my arriba stick when we sail together next. I originally bought it to use on the H17 when sailing off the wings. Still the best stick i've used and not broken. Videos here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... from+wings |

Those carbon arribas look great.. Have seen most those vids thanks Matt but still no one soloing and trapping off the wings... Looking forward to sharing a vid and scaring the $$%&! out of myself.. hey i aint 18 no more. cheers! |

I've been doing it for years. Basically, you need a hot stick or extendable tiller. Cleat the sails in a comfortable position while you make the transition and climb out on the wings with one hand on the tiller and one on the main sheet. Then point and trim and have fun. I keep a submersible marine radio on my life jacket in case I take a dunk and the boat continues on without me. Video upload to hosting site is taking a while. I'll post it here a little later.
