| Post subject: | EVA Foam for Wings over Mesh? |
So I was curious if anyone has used EVA foam in replacement of the mesh covering. Or if anyone has sailed their Getaway on the wings without any cover at all. I tried to search and saw people putting it underneath but never heard of it used in substitution. |

I put mine under the mesh. I used a eva foam workout mat cut in half lenghtwise that was about 3/4 inch in thickness. I sprayed a light strength spray adhesive before placing the foam to the wing. Then I put the mesh cover back on. Much more comfortable and it looks great. |

I guess I'm trying to see if there's a cheaper alternative to spending $200 on blue covers that I don't care for cosmetically. |
