Just judging by the lack of issues posted on the Hobie Forums about the Getaway...I'm convinced that the big G is the best boat Hobie makes. My brief ownership notwithstanding, it was an outstanding ride. I was impressed by the amount of real estate for people and cargo, impressed by performance (sailed over the top of both a Weta and a Windrider 17), impressed by the ease for fitting a spinnaker without an add on sprit. Basically a great cat...but I'm a tri guy at heart. |
