Post subject:  Dented Keel from trailer

Hi, I would appreciate any advice. I am looking at a 2004 Getaway for sale. It has some dents in the keel from sitting on the trailer as shown in the photo here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YaPTN ... Bv8NOdUveO.

Is this a problem? Should I steer away from this boat?

Thanks

I'd ask for an appropriate discount, but it would not dissuade me from getting it. There are very few used Getaways available, so ...

That dent will slow you a tiny bit from turbulence at high speed, but that's about all the difference there will be. You might even be able to CAREFULLY soften the area with a heat gun and push it back into shape but I didn't have much success doing that on my neighbors boat dent.
