I removed my graphics because they were all banged up from dock rubbing over the past years... using a razor I removed one side of the graphic stickers..... the next day I realized I just scratched the heck out of the plastic hulls... any suggestions on sanding the hull... what can I do??? |

I am wondering if you could rub it out with acetone on a paper towel. Let's see what others say. Steve. |

Not sure about this type of plastic, but on many the only way of getting that shine back is with a light touch of a propane torch... If you have some spare plastic, experiment on it... Sanding? Never had luck with that with poly plastics. |

You might try melamine squares. "so called" magic eraser. But get them in China. Only 5 bucks for about 100 of them. It may not work since it isn't really very abrasive (kinda like wet 1000 grit sandpaper). Also try a heat gun, scratch remover for your car's finish, and goo gone. Likely none of it will work, though. |

Here's a video that seems to work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AL0-pvp2blY |

Different kind of plastic. The Getaway uses a stiffer plastic that doesn't weld like most kayaks do. |
