Post subject:  Tarp from hell !

So I got my boat out of storage to get her washed down, and rigged up. I have a blue tarp covering the boat, and have checked it many time this winter and spring. The bow of the hulls ,which I checked looked great under the tarp, the stern however are another matter. The ENTIRE side of the hulls have black scuff marks that do not wash off. After 8 hours of experimenting with different methods and materials, she looks a lot better. Do not make my mistake!

Try Oxalic acid (FSR).

Thanks Matt
I have used that on fiberglass boats. Is it cool to use on the poly boats as well?

Lysol with bleach is also good stuff for cleaning the rotomolded boats.

The soft scrub with bleach worked great. I mad a paste for the really bad spots and let it sit on the area for ten minutes. Boat looks good. I had the entire job done in an hour.
