I did a search on this forum and found the description below, combined from a couple of posts. My boat came with trapeze wires but they were not installed. Below is a photo of one. It looks like the description below, except I am missing the washer between the harken block and ropelock.

The harken micro block disassembles and should be put at the end of the trap wire (where there is a wire loop).
The white line goes through the block.
One end of the white line is attached to the dogbone.
The other end of the white line is attached to the end of the bungee.
However, before attaching the white line to the end of the bungee, you insert the washer and black plastic ropelock in the line. It is meant to limit the amount of white line that can go through the loop and therefore adjusts the trapezing height.

To install the ropelock refer to page 8 of the downloadable hobie sailboat accesories catalog. Put the washer between the rope lock and the trap wire loop to protect the ropelock.

Repeat the same operation on the other side.
That means the bungee's end are attached to the white line at the port and starboard side (there is only one bungee)

Actually - one more question.... how do I attach it to the mast?

The trapeze wires attach to a shackle at the top of the mast tang.

The red represents a 1/4" shackle. The orange is the trapeze wire.

If you aren't interested in racing, but still want to go downwind deeper than the jib/main will let you, you can (I did) attach a microblock at that top hole to route a halyard for a small asymspin which you tack to the front crossbar and snuff on the forward tramp. Made the boat more fun without adding a lot of complication.
