Matt, Just went over my brand new(not off trailer yet) 2020 getaway and found that the holes in the wing supports don't came close to lining up which makes it nearly impossible to lock them in place. The front pins are the MOST troublesome but all seem to be misaligned. What can I do???Dwwjay |

I"ve found I have to push or pull on the wings to make the holes line up. And it seems to change from day to day, which ones are misaligned. |

Double check the wing stantions are in the right way round according to the wings' installation manual. The bolt holes are in a different position at the top of the support compared to the bottom of the support. |

Maybe twist in the hulls/frame that changes. Odd one for sure. |

The good news is it is pretty easy to figure out a fix. On my boat one was easy every time. Then I learned which way to push/pull to align the second one on that side. Usually was pretty easy to twist the other side this way or that to align them. Over time it got easier and easier. Different temperatures had different twist/pulls. It certainly isn't a critical aspect and I've left the dock on more than one occasion without pinning them at all and then got surprised by a loud clunk when it deployed or got back in on a tack or a wave. The boat is plastic and aluminum...can't think of too many other materials that are more flexible except maybe elastic and taffy. |
