Post subject:  Hobie Fat Cat bag fit
So after finally tracking down the proper 5” bag to fit my 2018 Getaway I am now unsure if this is the right size.

Is the bag supposed to fit between the port and the hull (unscrew the port and add the bag and then reassemble?)

Looks right to me. The plastic flange on the bag just sits against the lip at the bottom of the access port ring. Then the access port cover screws into the ring as usual.

Yeah that’s the problem - there isn’t a flange for it to sit on.

It looks like I don’t have a Hobie hatch or this one was replaced. Okay, that solves that mystery :)
