Hobie does not release production numbers. There have been some issues though, so not many.

Reason I ask is because I keep telling people what a great boat it is, but also have to caution them that they can't get one. Be nice if I could tell them that they are back in production, for real, with a dozen or more out sailing; and not just hopeful that the quirks have been corrected.

At least 9 for the West, when I was looking over the winter, one dealer had just sold 4, another had one but already reserved, I got the 4th and last one from the dealer I bought from, and never checked the 4th dealer out here. From posts here and talking to a Hobie dealer last weekend, sounds like its back in production, so keep telling people about it, it is a great boat.

When you say "sold 4" does that mean "delivered"? Don't want to mislead folks if they are sold but on backorder.

All out the doors and hopefully enjoying the winds this summer. One dealer had pictures of all the deliveries on their website and mine was the last in stock boat at the dealer I bought from, and that is just fairly local. I see pictures and videos from the midwest ands east coast of other new boats with the 22 sail pattern online, so stands to reason there are plenty more that made it out before the supply issue with one of the chemicals that was mentioned here.
