Which one are better ,more durable easier to tow with? Give me all good and bad. Cradles -no cradles? Resistance to puncture, pressure hold, new or used? Thanks for all comments Cezar |

The basic choice is low pressure or hard plastic wheels. If you have to cross soft sand you have to go with low pressure regardless of other considerations. If you have a long haul on hard pack, plastic wheels will be easier and faster. It is easier to roll the carrier into position underneath the boat without cradles. Once loaded cradles have the edge. There is no significant difference in putting either one on a trailer for towing. New or used? If you have the money for new, go for it. Over the life of a Getaway the cost is insignifcant. Otherwise get the best you can find and afford. |

I think the Cadkat and Cat Trax are very similar. Both have pneumatic tires. Cad Kat comes with cradles. The cradles can make it easier to move as the hull does not slip on them as easily as just the cross beam. |

Can you drysail the cat on the beach wheels? I currently have my getaway on my trailer where I drysail it and it would be a lot easier if I could just keep on propped on a Cat trax or similar device so I can just roll it into the water instead of messing around with the trailer. Is it safe to keep the boat propped up on the wheels and ground? |

Store in the wheels? I would shift the wheels all the way aft or forward so the entire load is not on the wheels and the entire thing would be more stable. Bows or stern down. |
