What type of wind indicator you guys use ? Does Telo Cat comes with some kind of attachment for Getaway furler? The furler itself is kind of low. Is it still going to fit and be well visible to the sailer? |

that wind vang will work on the getaway, I just went out in the yard and did a quick check, it can be just bellow the furler drum, as long as you can see the bottom of the drum you should be okay! Hobie part # 377 |

Thank you for fast response. I cannot find this part in the catalog. Is it a wind indicator itself or attachment for Telo Cat for furler type jib?? |

That part number is for a telo Cat wind Vane, it is on page 20 of the Hobie Catalog. you will also need a H18 adapter, to make it work with the Roller Furler. Let me know if you have any question. |

I used to use a telo vane on my H14Turbo which worked well. But on my Getaway the furler is way too low. The dealer warned me it would be and my friends H17 proved it as well. Wind tels work great. They grip on the sidestays and if you are tall enough you can get them up to where the wind indication is most important. |

I installed one on my getaway in the spring. I found it necessary to drill a hole lower down on the ss square bar so the pointer would be positioned closer to the furler. I did a test fit first to get the right height. Works great. |
