Went out for a quiet sail Saturday afternoon, started out with light winds but a big wind came up real fast up to about 30 kph (kilometers). It was the first time I really had the Getaway out in a real breeze, it was awesome, not as nerve racking as my 16, the getaway in way more predicable and I can run it for quite a ways up on one hull solo which was really had to do with the 16. Hit 30 kph at one point on the GPS, and was glad i did the update to the 8 to 1 blocks. |
