I'm trying to find a lighter alternative to the hobie steel trailer. Is anyone using an Aluminum Trailex trailer for the Getaway ? If so, is it working well, and what model is it ? Any other suggestion for a light(er) trailer ? |

I have not used that trailer with my Getaway, but have used them with other boats. If the trailer is rated for the Getaway's weight, then no worries. The problem may be with the width. But the most important feature are the rollers. You really want double roller to distribute the weight so you do not put indentations in the hulls. |

I posted a similar question over on catsailor. I wanted to get feedback from a lot of different types of boats. Here it is: http://www.catsailor.com/forums/showfla ... Post127001 |
